It's raining snow! Hallelujah!

Unlike most people I know, I really love the snow. The only time I curse it is when I have places to be. Because while I adore the snow, I was also raised in the South. We don't exactly know how to drive in the white fluffy stuff.

And yes, I am actually aware that I've lived in Kansas longer than I lived in the South now, so I should have learned by this point. Forgive me that my near-death-car-in-the-ditch incident has scarred me for life.

Shortly after moving here, I put my car in a ditch during a snowstorm and have since completely sworn off snow driving. What? I SAW MY LIFE FLASH BEFORE MY EYES! My snow driving phobia is so horrible that I actually used to make hubs to take me to work if there was more than an inch of snow on the ground. And we lived like two miles from work!

It snowed today. Our official forecast said "a little morning snow followed by a bit of afternoon snow," which made me laugh out loud. What kind of forecast is that? Tomorrow we'll have a sprinkle of cold weather followed by a titch of warmness when the sun comes out.

I stuffed little man into his snowsuit and we built his first ever snowman. It's ugly and its eyes are made out of peas and please don't laugh because it was his first ever snowman and it's a baby snowman and it's cute, okay? In a really ugly kind of way. Like pugs.

All of that just to show you a stinkin' snow picture. Man, I'm wordy. Sorry!

(No, I never took snowman building classes, OBVOUSLY.)
