I'm not a brilliant photographer by any stretch of the imagination, but my editing is even worse. If anyone has some good editing tips or tutorials you can point me in the direction of (I don't have photoshop), it would be much appreciated.
I sound like a broken record, but...read up on if Aperture is right for you. :) It probably costs about the same as Photoshop Elements. Elements would have more editing options, but Aperture makes it easier, and manages photo storage and organization into the bargain.
My main editing "tricks" (if you can call them that) are cropping, adjusting brightness, and sharpening or softening. I also admit to using the retoucher sometimes to remove a blemish or scratch. :)
