I don't facebook anymore. True story. Long story. Someday I'll elaborate.
Since I can't use facebook to narrate my life now (I mean really, isn't that a huge part of what facebook is all about?), I'll use the blog.
So, I present to you...a week in iPhone pictures.
We had a 70 degree day (73 maybe?) followed by snow the next morning. Really.
Then I got sick. Hm. I wonder if the two could be related? Then everyone else in the house got sick. You're welcome, guys..jpg)
Then I made a really awesome breakfast that the kids...actually ate! My kids don't eat very often. They're the pickiest eaters in the entire universe. But I made this baked oatmeal and they went nutso. So I appropriately documented that because it doesn't happen often.
Or ever.
Then we had like three solid days of fierce winds and our fence fell apart. Sad face.
I found this at Whole Foods and figured it was worth wasting $5 in case it actually worked. In case you care (or in case you are also pregnant and concerned that you may no longer have any lining to your throat left at all), IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!
I got really gigantic. I can no longer flip over easily, sit down easily, get up easily, bend over easily...or really anything easily. Like sleep. That sure doesn't come easily anymore, either. Hello, sunrises. I've missed you but am sure we'll become best buds all over again these next three months.
And I decided to be more intentional about spending time with my kiddos. They grow too fast! I need to soak this time up! So we playdoughed it up this week. And read. And colored. And I loved it. :)
Have I mentioned that I rock play dough?
In other news, my husband is out of town until next Saturday. Anyone who has been 28 weeks pregnant with two little, high-energy, still-high-needs kiddos (one of whom doesn't sleep through the night) under foot who is facing 7 days alone knows why I'm exhausted and weepy just thinking about the next week of my life. Add to that the fact that it's daylight savings time tomorrow and I have a whole slew of obligations this week as well as a lot of pregnancy pain and a whole new definition of insomnia and you'll understand why I cried for a solid thirty minutes this morning. Yes, I am a wimp in general, but especially when pregnant.
As is customary when Tim leaves town, the washer has already gone berserk, got so off-level that it moved halfway across our laundry room and when I was trying to fix it, I discovered a much worse problem (side note, hilariously, if you read that post I just linked, you'll see how eerily similar I sounded at that same point in Adalyn's pregnancy as I sound now). I noticed how much standing water there was on the ground and, subsequently, the massive amounts of mold that were living behind the washer because of some leak I haven't noticed for who knows how long. That means I get to try to fix a washer and repair a fence all by myself this week! Otherwise it'll be laundromat city for us, and I don't think I can handle that.
