vs., um, 28 weeks with Adalyn. HUGE difference despite the fact that I weigh the exact same to the pound that I did with her at this point.
I totally have mixed feelings. It's always nice to get closer to your due date, but I know that the third trimester is the roughest (at least for me), so I'm always a little fearful as I move into that last trimester.
I feel like I've literally doubled in size in the last week alone, but my comparison pictures don't tell such a story. Oh well. I at least feel like I'm 40 weeks pregnant already. The picture above gives a much more accurate account of just how big that belly has gotten.
I had some monster contractions that started around 9:00 last night and kept me up until 2:00 this morning (luckily they never got regular, so I'm chalking them up to the same experience I had with Adalyn) and my sweet, sweet girl woke me up at 5:30, so I'm dragging today on 3.5 hours of sleep.
My morning sickness has resurfaced at full-force. If this belly and the pain it brings along with it didn't remind me every moment that I'm pregnant, the constant nausea sure as heck would. Thank you, hormones. I sure love you.
That's all she wrote, lovelies!

Hello 28 week preggo tummy! My favorite thing about this picture is your morning cup of joe resting on your dresser :)
ReplyDeleteI'm predicting girl for you :)
ReplyDeleteYou look like you are carrying this baby in a totally different position! Isn't it crazy how different each pregnancy can be? And yet, some things (like the awesome aches and pains and nausea) can be exactly the same...
ReplyDeleteI hope your third trimester brings some relief! You look great!
